Employer Representation

As reflected by our Florida Bar Board Certifications in Business Litigation and Labor and Employment Law, in addition to representation in arbitration and litigation, we have the ability to help employers be proactive in trying to avoid becoming entangled in lawsuits, or at least minimize the risk of serious disruption of business if litigation is filed.  We do so by drafting employer policies and procedures and employee handbooks; providing employer-sponsored seminars and workshops on discrimination and harassment policies; drafting non-compete and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements; defending unemployment claims and EEOC complaints; and defending FLSA claims.
